In a far off land, under a moonlit sky love's sweet strain was heard once more. This is my nephew Josh Muston and his new bride Christi. This one's been a long time coming. They have been dating for 6 years. I was told that she told him she was getting married to SOMEONE this year so he'd better fish or cut bait. Really, these guys have been waiting for just the right moment, which came on Saturday.
Christi was lovely in her dress and Josh was...well...there. No tears for this event, laughter filled the air from my normally weepy family. I think because eveyone was so happy to see these two together.
In typical teacher fashion (Christi teaches 2nd grade), there was a kid's table at the reception with Pizza, Gummi Bears, M&M's, Juice boxes, markers, and playdough. A thoughtful touch for the little ones.
My brother Rob and I sat back and watched the female feeding frenzy at the Chocolate fountain. I wondered at the wisdom in arming these women with skewers so near that flowing fountain of liquid passion. I also wondered if they would attack any of the wounded in blind chocolate rage. Needless to say, very few men got anywhere near that end of the room.
I only had one heartbreaking disappointment that night. I asked a strikingly beautiful girl to dance with me and she turned me down. My own daughter wouldn't even do the "Chicken Dance" with me. C'est la vie.
This third and final installment in the saga of Muston weddings was the perfect capstone for my sister's family. They've thrown some good weddings and this was one of them. Happily ever after, Josh and Christi, and happy new beginnings.

What a beautiful post to a beautiful couple. Wasn't Josh in your wedding many years ago Tim. I know Jason was.
I am glad you were able to be there. Chocolate fountain?
Boy, that must have been great and the little kids table was a great idea.
What I said above.wnehw
Uncle Tim - That was such a beautiful way to sum up the events
of the day. It was so good to see you (for a little while) and the kids. I can't believe how much they have grown. Please tell Melissa and Patrick hello and that we missed them !
Much Love, Charissa
P.S. And yes, the chocolate fountain was the best part of the night !!!! I wonder if they sell those for your home ?!
Actually, they do Charissa. I've seen small ones at Walmart. I'm sure it was nothing compared to the one at the wedding, but hey, even a little is better than nothing. ;)
I remeber Josh from that time when I stayed with you guys at your parents little guest thingy on the lake...Yall remember that?? Tell him I said congrats and it sounds like a beautifull wedding!! And that Choclate Fountain thing sounds awesome! I've seen them at the mall and I've always wanted one :D
Yeah, they had little bits of poundcake, marshmallows, fruit, and nutterbutters(?). the kids loved it, too.
