We're Home!

Hey there. Hope everyone is doing fine. Yes, we are still alive. Sorry, it's been so long coming for a new post. It's been a rather busy few weeks, getting geared up for the past weekend. We had a great time in San Antonio. Spent many hours by the hotel pool. It was a really small pool, but just big enough and shallow/deep enough for the little ones to not need floaties. We also did the Wax Museum. If you're ever in SA and want to do the Wax Museum....DON'T. Save your money. The figures didn't looked hardly like the people they were supposed to. Lesson learned. Never go.
Schlitterbahn was fun for the most part. There were a few anxious moments when the kids got separated from us on the tube rides, but the attendants were good about holding them in place until we caught up or holding us in place. We did lose Jacob for about 5-10 minutes at one point. He just disappeared while we were watching the giant swing thing where they harness you up and pull you up about 10,000 feet (or lower) and let you go. I turned around and he was GONE!!!! This was in an area where one of the main attractions was a "lazy River" with a strong current. Thank God Patrick
found him in the kiddie area, just having a great time, not a care in the world. Other than that, we had a great trip and looking forward to next year.
I'm sorry to say that even though we had a water-proof camera and the video camera at Schlitterbahn, not a picture was taken. We got some videoes of the kids at the hotel pool and some pics in SA that hopefully will be up sooner or later. :) I don't know who's daughter I am, but certainly not Mema's, I guess. :)

Bye bye

Sounds like you guys had blast! I didn't even know you were going to San Antonio! It's one of my favorite family vacation spots from when I was a kid. Next time try to do Sea World, too. We're so going when ours are big enough! Love it!

Mom? This is the first time I have seen it. It wasn't me.

I am so glad you had a good time. And I can really know the feeling of a lost Jacob. I or we lost Chester at a Christmas parade in Hillsboro one time. I am telling you it is an awful feeling.

Thank you Patrick for finding him.

Much love,
