Well, we had a bit of a scare last night. Lots of thunder, lightening, rain and high winds. It was believed to have been a tornado, but that is still up for debate. I think all we got was some straight winds. We had some hail. When that started it was hitting E's bedroom window so hard that we got all the kids in the hallway, where they all went back to sleep. We lost about 3 arm-size limbs off the pecan tree and lots of twigs and leaves, but no major damage that the eye can see. We are going to have the room inspected to see if there was enough done to it to have to replace. There were no shingles gone, but a lot of granuals on the back porch this morning. The street behind us and the street behind it lost some pretty big trees, either split in half of just some big limbs off them. We faired pretty well all in all. God was with us last night.
It's been thundering and raining most of the day. Got about 15 minutes of sunshine about an hour ago, but it's gone now and I hear more thunder in the distance.
We were without electricity from about 12:30 last night until about 15 minutes ago at 2:15. Been a boring day, but got several puzzles done in my puzzle book. Really should be doing laundry or something, but just couldn't get motivated to do it. :)
Well, guess that's enough of this, so I will let you go now. Just wanted to let anyone who was interested hear about our excitement.
Love ya

I assume you meant getting the roof inspected... That was a thought of mine, might get a new roof out of this. Oh well just glad that is all the damage you got, everyone safe is most important.
Yep, that's what I meant alright. About 5 minutes after I updated the blog, the electricity went out again. We were out the door just after that to take Tim some dinner. He had to work today. It was on by the time we got home.
Since you didn't return my call, I called Denise to see if all was well. She said you had a headache and probably went to sleep and for got to call. I guess washing clothes would have been hard to do with no power or do you use a wash board? I am just glad I didn't hear about it until I could call you. Saved me a few grey hairs. Love U.
