We just saw the absolutely best movie of the year. It was fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone. It was "Cars". The newest animated picture from Disney/Pixar. Although you should have already known that unless you've been living under a rock somewhere. But really, it was a great movie. If any of you have seen "Doc Hollywood" with Michael J. Fox, it's a lot like that movie. There were a lot of very familiar voices, but many I couldn't place until the credits rolled. Speaking of which, if and when you go see it and you HAVE to see it, don't leave too early. Sit through the credits and listen to the awesome soundtrack. There is a little more after the credits. I don't know if Aidan would sit through it or not. It's right at 2 hours long, but it's worth every minute. It is definitely a movie that we are going to buy when it comes out on DVD. If it's a toss up between this and "Over the Hedge", I say go to "Cars".
I don't want to ruin it for anybody by telling you anything about it, just go see it for yourself.

With tongue in cheek, I will comment on "Over the Hedge". I didn't like it. To much distruction and loud noise. I saw it on K's CD. From what I have seen of Cars, I would rate it thumbs down. OOps, K thinks I am awful for not getting a bang out of it. I guess I am just to old!!!!!!
yes... definitely on our list of must see movies!!!
I want to see both of them...but we just dont get out very often between finishing our house and working on the loft. Have to wait till they come out on DVD. :)
Saw Cars today!!! It was great! I loved it. A storm came thru and the theatre lost power for about 1 - 2 min but then came back on & movie continued. Very funny & good movie... Wish they would make more like that. We also stayed (along w/ only 2 other people) to see the clip AFTER all the credits. A theatre full of people missed out on that... thanx for the heads up!!!
Yeah, we definitely wanna see Cars. I don't think Ace would sit through a movie just yet, but it won't be too much longer. I can't wait! It was a special treat when my mom would take us to the movies; I'm so ready to share that with Aidan.
we thought Cars was the best movie of the year too! adding to our family classics to be collection when it's out on dvd. after seeing it we had to go back and watch monsters inc on dvd. pixar has some great stuff.
